I'm passionate about creating artwork that connects us to each other, and to the beautiful world around us.

My work is inspired by nature, my family, and slow living. I believe that somewhere in the intersection of these three things is the sweet spot: a flourishing, well-lived life.

With every card, art print, and paper product, I strive to pass down a legacy of gardening & letter-writing to my own children, and cultivate a slower life in the world around us.

Highlight the beauty of nature

Nearly all my art is inspired by nature, and is a direct result from spending time outside, enjoying the life and light of the outdoors. I paint from life, and am proud to translate the beauty of creation onto paper through watercolor.

Encourage slow living

A well-lived life is a slow-lived life. When we slow down enough to enjoy the outdoors, our family, and our community, gratitude can't help but grow. That’s why all my products make it easy for you to take the time to create connection and live life in the present.

I'm one of the few small businesses completely off of social media, and that won't ever change. By stepping away from screens, we make our customers a priority instead of our follower count. All our products make it easy for you to step off your screen and embrace the analog, one hand-written note at a time.

Our Process

Hand-painted artwork, digitally printed in the highest quality

Each By Caroline Ann design is thoughtfully hand-painted in my Dallas home studio. I blend nature-inspired designs with a vintage watercolor style to deliver a sense of peace and joy in every painting.

After putting paintbrush to paper, I scan my designs and digitally edit them so every detail is reproduced true to life. If you order an art print or paper product, you're guaranteed to receive a print that looks exactly like the real painting. I'm passionate about good art and quality product, to create art that’s a joy to receive.

Our Team

We’re small and family-run, so when you receive your order, you can know that Caroline & her family carefully crafted and packaged each piece by hand. Inspired by the beauty of nature, Caroline hand-paints each design in watercolor and digitizes all the artwork, which is then expertly printed by our trusted printing partner. Each product passes through our hands personally, and may have even been packaged by our sweet kiddos, who love to help with 'mama's art business.'

My love for paper started at a young age...

My love for letter-writing and all things paper is from growing up watching my mom write letters. Each note thoughtfully crafted, her notecard collection was always full and ready for use. She is the master of celebrating every occasion, no matter how small. Continuing that tradition, By Caroline Ann invitations & cards help pass down a new legacy, with my own daughter.

That spirit of celebration and intention has carried all the way into each hand-painted, garden-inspired design I create. I am honored to be able to carry on the tradition so lovingly passed down to me by my own mom and grandmother.
